Remarks
I appeared for the IPU-CET for MBA. Got a decent rank and was allotted MAIT in the first counseling session itself. In IPU, your college depends on your rank in the CET. Minimum 55% in graduation was required. IPU-CET form was of Rs. 1000. After the counseling session, you are asked to pay a fee of Rs. 40,000 as university fees by DD in the name of GGSIPU, this freezes your seat in the allotted college. Then you are supposed to visit the college on the time given to deposit your documents and the rest of the fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is very good and experienced. Every teacher there was an expert. I still remember Sanjeev Sir's way of teaching and his interaction with the students. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. Exams were pretty much scheduled and taken timely as per the university's guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
I got my internship on my own, so really can't tell about it. But yes, some people from my batch got their internships from college in the companies like Protiviti, Bain and Co., etc. So the college helps the students in every way possible.
Placement Experience
You'll get opportunities in the third semester itself. The placement coordinator will share the details in your email. You'll get an average package of 3.5 LPA as a fresher easily if you work for it. I'd say around 70% of the students were placed as some of them were never into jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
MBA from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology costs a student around 3 Lacs. There will be many job opportunities, it's just about which is the one you are able to crack. I got placed with Extramarks Education India Pvt Ltd. as a Business Development Executive at a decent pay of 4 LPA.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, named Techsurge & Mridung. It's quite good, nothing compared to the fests of DU, but yes something is better than nothing!! Classrooms are good, fully ac. Many clubs run by students are there and some societies as well.
