Remarks

I chose Jamia Millia Islamia University-[JMI] for my masters as it is ranked sixth among the top 10 Universities of the country. Also, because I reside in Delhi itself and in close proximity of the college, I decided to close the deal. The admission process is simple and fuss-free. Jamia has its own entrance exam as well as GD\PI . 80% valuation is for admission test and 20% for GD\PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I found the teaching methodology of the faculty quite impressive. They not only taught what was prescribed in the curriculum but also provided extra knowledge on trending topics related to the field of business management and finance. Despite the course being rigorous the professors way of teaching made it quite easy for me and batchmates to catch up.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Almost 90% of the students get an internship every year because there is a mandatory minimum of 6 months internship for every student. There are many recruiters who visit the campus to offer internships to the students so that they can gain industry exposure.

Placement Experience

4.5

About 80% of the students from our course get placed every year. The highest package that was offered was 13 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 4-6 LPA. Some of the past recruiters were Oyo, Swiggy, Zomato, HCL, Chegg.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the course is 50000 per annum in totality. There are many scholarships for under privileged students as well as students who are meritorious in an academic year. The fees is much less as compared to other B- schools in India so fees would not be much of a problem.

Campus Life

5

Campus life at Jamia is great as all the basic amenities are provided in the campus such as cultural comities for dance , music , arts as well as sports grounds are well maintained and well equipped. Cultural fests take place at the campus every year which are quite enriching and fun.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel provides all the basic amenities that is required by a student. There is a reading hall, common hall, water cooler, washing machine, medical facility, canteen , guest room , laundry, tuck shops for students .

Admission

In order to get admission in Jamia we have to face an admission test followed by a GD followed by a PI. The admission test consists of 4 sections comprising of reasoning, English , quantitative aptitude and current affairs. After we clear the written test we are called for the GD and PI rounds. If we qualify the overall merit list, we can take admission in the programme.

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course cirriculum of MAIT a 8/10 as cirriculum is desgined by GGSIPU and its is well balanced with theroytical and practical knowlegde for the students. every semester you have 5 practical subject and 5 theory stubject and 1 additional subject for growth as person in corporate work. the syllabus is fairly good as thats not difficult if you pay attention in class you can score good grade in the semester. each semester usually has interal exam and then external exam which held in other colleges of GGSIPU. overall, the cirriculum is good, relevant, and career oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The framework prioritizes "future-ready" learning. By integrating Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC)—such as Digital Marketing or Financial Literacy—and Value Addition Courses (VAC), the syllabus moves beyond rote memorization. It forces a multidisciplinary approach, allowing you to pair core subjects with diverse electives, ensuring you remain competitive in a shifting job market.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.
