Don't take admission in YMCA for MCA courses.

There was an entrance test which YMCA conduct and bases on the merit list, we got selected. My rank was 11 and my name was on 1st cut off list. Then I submit my documents along with an anti raging affidavit. Before document verification, I submit 1st instalment by online method and then 2nd by Demand draft. Then I asked teachers for the process to apply for a hostel and on the same day, I applied for Hostel.

I like computer programming so I choose this course. For 76 students there is only 1 teacher for each subject which is not so good. We were told in the starting that there is only 60 seats for this course but then they took admission of 9 more students and in the 2nd year 7 more added to my class in the lateral entry. There is so many good and experienced teacher in YMCA, but for the MCA course, we only assign 2-3 good teachers throughout the course. Most of the teachers who taught us were P.Hd scholars who had minimum teaching experience. In the online mode ,everything went wrong. Teachera don't even create there on ppt, they just download form google as present as it is. December 2020 exams were postponed to March 2021 as leet students enrolled in Dec-2020 which they can manage to MCA-2020 batch instead of 2019 batch.

In the 5th sem students are eligible for placement. But as from 2020, MCA is 2 years course. Placement is available in the 3rd sen. In the last sem, we have to do an internship to complete the course. Many companies are visiting for placements.

In an online mood, the university increased our fees even though everything was online. So there should be only tuition fees but they also charge us for electricity, resources, development fees. We raised our voice but they told us that we can pay fees in 2 instalments. Before a pandemic, we can take a hostel for 6 months and pay for 6 months only. But in Feb-2021 they charge fees for us for 1 year and then told us that it is only valid until July-2021. In August 2021 we have to pay again. But due to the 2nd wave, we vacant hostel in March, and they only refund around 2800 out of 17,567.

I'm not well aware of this. But there are many clubs run by students like photography, dancing, acting, creativity. These clubs are mainly run by B.Tech students. University also conducts an annual fest.

Hostel faculty for Girls Hostel is quite good. All the superiors are friendly, the problem also solved in 2-3 days. Mess food is also good quality and there is also variety in food. Old buildings are not so good but a new building is also built in lockdown. There is a problem with the balcony and no open space to dry clothes.
