Remarks

I am a student of mass communication in Xt. Xavier's University. The application form and selection lists were all there in the university website. One has to fill up the form, pay application fees within the mentioned date. If selected, one has to upload documents like mark sheets, photos, signature, etc,. They will ask to visit the university for physical verification. The office staff is quite friendly too. So is the teaching faculty. The fees for mass communication is a bit high. The campus is quite large.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The faculty is friendly. One can reach out to them in need. They cooperate a lot as well. For now, we are having online mode. The classes are held on google meet and the notes and assignments are sent to Google Classroom.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I am in third semester and for now I didn't get any internship opportunity. But they provide internships in the final year of the college. They always try to keep the students busy and provide ample opportunities.

Placement Experience

2.5

From semester 5 or 6 students are eligible for campus placements. A lot of and big companies come for the campus interviews. I have a plan to do masters from this university itself. Maximum of the students get their placements through campus interviews in the university.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee for mass communication is a bit high. The university provides internships and campus interviews in the third year. If one is facing a financial crisis, he or she can communicate the problem in the office and a concession or necessary help is provided.

Campus Life

2.5

There are different societies in the university like sports, film, debate, cultural societies, etc,. There are inter as well as intra college fests. There are departmental fests as well. The atmosphere will always keep one motivated and excited to participate. The library is huge and one can do their studies there as well. It's an anti-ragging University and everyone is amicable.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel fees is a bit high. There are two hostel buildings for now inside the campus. Food and meals are eatable. Some PGs and flats are there just opposite the university. The locality is safe too. There are restaurants near the University too.

More than 200 companies offer jobs every year to students. the highest package is 40 kpm and the average is 30k pm. 60% of the students get placements. I plan on attaining a masters degree on the same after graduation.
