Remarks

The college has lots of bureaucracy and it is tough to bring about changes in its operations. But with the help of students, it can be possible to convince them to evolve.

Course was well designed and faculty was OK. Some of the faculties had industry experience and some had just academic experience.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship with AMUL. Other companies to come for internship with big banks, insurance companies, analytics firms.

Placement Experience

The placements were competitive as batch strength was more than 480. Average package was around 7L

College Events

Melange is the annual event organized by us. Pretty big event. Around 5-10k turn around.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome as it was a residential course for us. The college has an awesome infrastructure in the heart of mumbai. Good amount of committees and events keeps us busy throughout the course.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well maintained and food had improved due to the student council's efforts to replace the old contractor.

Alumni network was below par but it has improved owing to latest efforts to connect to alumni by the college.

Pros and cons of Studying in Asm's Ibmr pune

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

Good exposure and faculty

Remarks:

The campus is good having basic facilities like free Wifi. The campus also has a canteen which serves food during all college hours starting from 8 in the morning. The college has a clean and green atmosphere. The crowd is also good. The college administration is supportive to the students. The chairperson herself organises a session with the students regularly.

THE TRUTH ABOUT KJ SOMAYA

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More
