Remarks

I applied for all the colleges through CAT and got calls from 12 IIMs including IIM Indore as my best call. I availed quota under the NC-OBC category for admission. The admission process for IIM Nagpur was conducted separately through the PI process and was done on one basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to do MBA to further enhance my knowledge in management and to be able to get more career opportunities. The faculty to student ratio in IIM Nagpur is 1:9 and faculties at the institute are from prestigious institutions such as IIM Banglore and IIM Ahmedabad. The term exams here are quite tough and these are totally application-based exams which are open book and open notes.

The Placement policy does not allow us to disclose the companies visiting the campus during the current placement season. One can check the Placements from the official website of IIM Nagpur for previous years.

Placement Experience

From the 2nd semester, students get eligible for summer placements and from 4th-semester students get eligible for the final placements. The percentage of students getting placed is 100%. My plans after getting the degree are to work in the different sectors to my full potential and reach top positions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the course of IIM Nagpur is around 14.25 lacs which also includes hostel fees and refundable caution money of 50k. The scholarship available is SNBS and certain central scholarships for differently-abled students, category students.

Campus Life

Tangerine Trails is the name of the annual fest of IIM Nagpur which is a flagship event. Other events include MIHAN 6.0 which is a leadership program that exposes students to leaders from various domains. There are 17 clubs in IIM Nagpur.

Hostel Facilities

There is a mess committee club responsible for the food menu and all the arrangements including the procurement of raw materials and negotiations from the vendors. Since the term I & II is online so we're still waiting to get on the campus.

Interview Experience

The test for the selection was through the CAT exam which is conducted for admissions into 20 IIMs across the country. I didn't prepare for the CAT exam but I did prepare for the PI process by recording myself in camera to question such as introduction, hobbies, strengths.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. I chose IIM, Nagpur over other colleges because the alumni network, faculty and the perk of scholarship. Remaking of Career - IIM Nagpur - 9th Best IIMs out of Best B- Schools in Country

The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. I got a call from every IIM for flagship PGP - MBA apart from IIM A and IIM B. Based on my score of IIM C and IIM K, I got direct admission to IIM Nagpur for the 2018-20 batch. IIM Nagpur, the B-school at the center of India

Eligibility of the course can be done only through CAT which is handled by the IIMs. Once my CAT scores came out, I applied to the college through CAT on the college's website. Once I cleared the cut-offs specified by the college, I received a mail to fill out the SOP and application.
