Entrance Preview

I gave the Amity Law School entrance exam, scored 65% and opted for it because it is a prestigious university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is pretty well versed, as all the required subjects are included in the court. There were about 45 different types of laws that one had to study in accordance to clear the course. furthermore they also have other subjects included in the course that offers a better understanding of the society such as Economics, Sociology, etc.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about now but when I did my course we had to find a lawyer our self in accordance to do internship. The last semester consisted of internship under any lawyer and preparation of a dissertation under any of the topics provided by the college. I made it on 'Money laundering in India'. Post that there was a VIVA clearing which one would be good to attain his/her degree.

Placement Experience

4

Back when I joined the college, the college had just begun to come up as a whole and most of the people I knew in the college were from a family who had a law background. Yes the college did provide placements & job opportunities. However it was only provided to the students were holding a scholarship or were attaining the best marks.

College Events

4.5

The college collectively participated in co-curricular activities such as organising moot courts, football and basketball matches. They made a football team wherein players now play for the Indian Super League. It also provided for the training and accommodation of players not only for football but other sports to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the college is a private university the fee structure is comparatively high if compared to a Govt. College. Still the facilities provided in the college are way beyond what one can expect in any Govt. colleges. The course that I opted for costed me Rs. 5 Lac. According to me I think that's decent enough to gain a degree from a prestigious university.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was an average student and never deemed to gain a scholarship as I was pretty satisfied with what I attained from that place. All I was looking for was good education and grooming and thanks to my teachers and the Law Faculty was amazing (specifically Mr. Alok Verma).

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is amazing as the college itself is very outspread. It is so big that at times one would use Golf Carts to travel around the college. The gender ratio as you know was more males and less females. The labs are well kept, sports facilities are amazing, since I did a law course debates were common and also had moot court sessions.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is like any other Law College. Five exams in one semester. So it goes like this, ten semesters, each for six months time period, all have five different subjects to it, excluding the tenth semester as in the tenth semester one had to do internship for six months and make a dissertation.

Admission

It was pretty simple, I filled in the Entrance Examination Application form, got a date for the examination, gave the examination, passed it in accordance to the eligibility criteria, went through an interview and got selected. Joined the college as the session commenced.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college consists of highly qualified individuals, ranging from Lawyers and Ph.D's in various subjects. Every teacher was well versed with the subject that they were teaching and had apt knowledge of the same. Apart from this they also provided guidance in other sphere of life such as sports and legal advise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. The highest package companies were Byju's, Big Basket, Tech Mahindra, etc. and give the best offers to the undergraduate students. Highest package was 7Lpa and the average was 1.2Lpa and the profiles offered were BDA, CSE, Marketing, HR, etc. Out of 100% students 70-80% students get placed and the rest prepare for Master course My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the Master course.

It's a nice place to live in because here the bond which gets developed is unbreakable. Seniors are of great help. They can help in small works like how to put thouread in needle to how to write research papers for Havard. Negative thing about Rml is that here students are too chill.
