Remarks

The college is perfect balance of Academic and non academic activities and has ample of resources to realize your dream and also college is proactive to help you if you want to start or establish something new in the college. The director himself encourages students to be innovative and to help in building the institution. The environment is a bit strict but for good only

Entrance Preview

There is a standard test for all the law colleges of symbiosis called SET. Its a test of 150 marks and all questions are multiple choice. After this, selected students has to go through PI-WAT process which stands for Personal interview and writing ability test. As the name suggests it consists of two parts one is written ability test and another is writing ability test. Then after the process, selected candidates get admission in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is quite innovative at SLS - N there are two types of subject one are internal and another are external. For internal exams one need to pass just the internal exams and no external exams are held but for external subjects, one need to pass both internal and external exams. Also there are many subjects which helps the students to cope up with the industry such as Legal database.

Internships Opportunities

The college has a well equiped training and placement cell which provides internship. There is a proper proccedure for applying for the internship and almost everyone who apply From the cell gets the internship. Its my personal experience since I applied two times and got both the times as my other classmates and friends. The internships can be anywhere but majorly in NCR area. The internship may vary from Metropolitan court to high court to supreme court. Also the Internships can be in NGOs and MNCs. Don't expect stipend for first two years and even third year but in fourth and fifth year one can easily get stipend for internship. Also it is to be noted that internships are the mandatory part of the course and one needs to do internship twice a year for which he or she is evaluated through presentation and personal interviews and marks are added to the total GPA.

Placement Experience

4

Most of the students get their PPOs by fourth year at places they were interning. Also of course there are on campus placements but not many people sit in them since most of the students have their job letters by fourth year. The college doesn't publish the packages or information of placements but as per the seniors and other sources, the highest package last year i.e 2016-17 was 22 Lacs and average package was eight lacs. Major companies in which students are placed include Coke Cola and co. , Tri - Legal, Shardul Amarchand and Mangaldas, Cyril Amarchand and Mangaldas, Astral legal and many more.

College Events

4.5

The college organizes two major events during a year. One is Symfiesta - the cultural and legal Festival at stretch of 3 days somewhere in march and another is Aprajit - the sports fest of the college. Both the festivals are humongous in nature and prestigious fests in Noida NCR region. Many famous singers and celebrities are called to perform. The college authorities do contribute good part of the finance bu major contribution comes from the sponsors. Whole of the event is organised and executed by the students only. The footfall for the event outside the college is 1000. Also every month there is a cultural evening where students showcase their talents and also all the other big and small festivals are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since symbiosis law school noida is a private institute therefore is not very affordable. But amenities against the fees charged are good. Also the symbiosis is a brand in itself thus has a market value too. The annual fees of the institute is 1,10,000 which increases at rate of 5 percent every year till 3rd year and after that remains constant.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no policy for the scholarship but definitely there is a provision for loan, One can approach the Admin office to get the help. The college is more than happy to arrange all the documents and give information to the students.

Campus Life

2.5

The college has its own Cultural contingent and Sports contingent, Auditions and trials of which are organised every year. The cultural contingent includes four cells that is dance, music, drama and debate and the sports contingent includes all the major and minor sports from cricket to chess.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is no boys hostel as of now but there is a certainly a decent hostel for girls whose year's expenditure is 1.50 lacs including food and on triple sharing basis. The girls hostels in non AC but they do provide coolers and as per the reviews by girls, food is quite decent in comparison with other college's standards, As for boys there are many residential societies nearby where anyone can get flats ranging from 18 K to 30 K a month depending on the needs of a person, Also there are many PGs nearby which do provide good facilities and food at cheap rates. PG's cost vary from 7,000 a month to 12,000 a month depending upon the number of people sharing room and other facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

The college is new and there is not much of a Alumni base but then also there is an alumni base, some of which come to college to assist students but there is no formal platform for student alumni interaction.

Exam Structure

since there are two sets of internal exams every semester, A project which has to be submitted in two stages over a stretch of two months followed by Viva so and the fact that the semester is just of four months therefore every day there is something scheduled for the day apart from the regular classes. But all the internal exams are open book therefore very little effort has to be invested during internal exams but as easy as it seems these open book exams are more challenging then the conventional style of exams but definitely gives a real life exposure and therefore transforms system from learning and cramming based to logical and analysis based.

Faculty

4

The standard of teaching is pretty good and is increasing day by day. Although there is a need for more permanent faculty since huge number of professors and assistant professors are visiting faculties. All the teachers have done their post masters and a good number of teacher are Phd. Few teachers are also perusing there Phd right now, Over all faculty is well learned and easily available at the campus and one can learn from them even after the college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.

After the 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. The highest package companies were Byju's, Big Basket, Tech Mahindra, etc. and give the best offers to the undergraduate students. Highest package was 7Lpa and the average was 1.2Lpa and the profiles offered were BDA, CSE, Marketing, HR, etc. Out of 100% students 70-80% students get placed and the rest prepare for Master course My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the Master course.
