Apart from NAAC ranking which is A+. It is also one of the top 3 University of India. Apart from that Law Faculty has been ranked among the Top 10 legal institutes as per India Today and The Times of India.

Academically it is excellent but there is lack of some exposure to legal issues existing in society. All teachers teaching their respective subjects have excelled in their respective spheres. Apart from that there is at least one faculty available for each legal subject. It also has an annual moot court event in order to test your oratory skills as well as improve it.

In legal field chances for a stipend while doing internship but they come with loads of experiences. You can opt for internship in a Court (ranging from Supreme Court to District Court) or into legal firms as well. It all depends on your sources as well as a little amount of luck. There is just a recommendation for internship on part of Department and nothing else. In case of internship it would be better to say that you are on your own with a little backing from the institute itself.

There are good chances that you can go to legal firms if you are capable enough. But there are less chances of referral from alumni cause this course is new compared to traditional LLB course. Course itself began in 2014. Yet placement chances are good rest depends on your C.V as well as your oratory skills.

Campus life is great. You have tonnes of extra curricular activities to do. Apart from that every year in month of Feb-March University organises its cultural fest i.e. Spandhan. At the same time law faculty also endorses its own cultural fest i.e. Srijan so that the best of you can be recognised and it provides an atmosphere for you to evaluate your hidden talents as well. This college fest occurs for a whole month during which you are free to explore the university as well as the betterment of you.

A big and spacious library containing each book relating to law, whether it is written by an Indian Author or a Foreign one can be easily found in the faculty library. Apart from that department of law also has its own auditorium with a capacity of 700 people.

Hostel is very good. It is also budget friendly which costs less than 3000rs for whole year. Apart from that hostel has a mess of its own which charges per diet which according to me should be not more than 45rs and the food shall be served 2 times i.e. Lunch and Dinner. You have to manage breakfast on your own. Apart from these facilities hostel is also equipped with 24 hr wi-fi internet with a daily limit of 4 GB per device. Hostel is also equipped with water coolers to cope with summers which are quite warm as temp. reaches 39°C.
