Entrance Preview

Took entrances for IIT, BITS, AIEEE and GGSIPU in 2012. Could not score good in all except GGSIPU CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

BPIT follows the academic curriculum set by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). I personally feel the academic curriculum is full of redundant subjects. Had to study some subjects such as software engineering in about 3 semesters with a different subject name. It would have been better if they included a different subject in each semester.

Internships Opportunities

No, bpit does not provide any internships. One has to search for interships on his/her own. Training and placement cell do conduct some trainings in college campus during 2 the so called 2 months break but that lacks quality. Trainers are not good at all. And you have to pay around 10000 bucks for that.

Placement Experience

0.5

A college's ability to get its students placed determines its rating. I would say BPIT completely sucks in terms of placements. College's management does not support the training and placement cell and do not offer them the required funds. On the other hand BPIT'S TNP cell heads Mrs. Babita Kataria and Mr Gopal Kishan (Husband and Wife) are completely incompetent, arrogant and ignorant.

College Events

1

There are 2 major events held in BPIT. First is the Eloquence, the annual literary fest of bpit wherein you would find online events as well as events for shayari, poems, debates etc. Second is corona, the annual 2 day cultural and technical fest of bpit held in march. It is one of the best time of college life. Though no good celebrities are brought in star night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say, it is above feasible for some and feasible for the rest. Annual fee is around 95000 rupees which is to be deposited around august- september every year. First year fee is around 105000 rupees. I would say they charge 5000 rupees as miscellaneous charges but do not provide facilities in lieu of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, not as such. Economically weaker section students do get some scholarships is they provide a valid/genuine proof. Rest, i have not heard of it in my college time. College toppers do get rs.5000 as a prize in holi mangal milan event in feb.

Campus Life

1

Campus life would be full of memories worth remembering if you get some friends worth your friendship. Crowd is mixed. It is full of selfish people though( which would be clear once you reach your 4th year). College management does not support extra curricular activities. That is one of the most disheartening thing in BPIT.

Exam Structure

Exam structure in BPIT is adhered to the norms given by ggsipu. There are two sessionals (mid terms) followed by internal practicals, external practicals and the final theory exams.

Admission

Took GGSIPU CET back in 2012 and secured a decent rank. Went to the counselling held at ggsipu main campus, dwarka and reserved a seat in BPIT there. Opted for this college because its not very far from my home. Plus i got a seat in it easily. Admission process to GGSIPU has changed from 2013. Online counselling are done after the CET result is announced.

Faculty

1

I would rate BPIT's faculty 5 out of 10. Some teachers are too good in terms of their knowledge and capability to transfer it to students. On the other hand some teachers are completely incompetent. One would rather try to guess that hoe did they even get this job.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
