Remarks
I've taken admission through ACPC (Gujarat Board), as my merit rank is around 200, I got admission in this college in round1. So admission process is very easy and transparent. Admission criteria are too high for the ICT+CS branch thus I chose the ICT branch. There was not any counseling day.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested to study Computer and heard that DA-IICT gives the best placements in Gujarat. So i chose this college. Faculty: student is quite good. My class strength is 370+. Faculty members are very well qualified. They have done their Ph.D. from well recognized universities in the world. Term exams are not very tough to score. We have three exams per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is transparent as they shown in thier website, not other hidden charges. STudents have to pay their fees per semester. Cost to study very costly for middle class family. Many student from our institute have taken Education loan to study. Our institute gives 2 scholarships: Merit cum mean scholarship. But these scholarships are for NRI students and students who have got admission through JEE results. And students who have taken thier admission from the Gujarat quota they got an MYSY scholarship every year.
Campus Life
Synapse is our annual fest and i.fest is our technical annual fest which occurs by the college committee every year. We have strong social relations with our seniors as every batch has to stay on campus. We have a sports committee that inspires all students to take part in sports fests and inter-college competitions. There are a lot of extracurricular activities to do on campus. All seniors are very helpful and kind to us. Classrooms are so nice (you can imagine as movie theatre, Campus life is the best.Our institute has many technical and also nontechnical clubs. GDSC, programming clubs, Annual fest committee, cultural committee, i.fest committee these are some names of Clubs and committees.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is not the best but good. Accomodations for family is also good. In girls hostel Hostel committees allocated two girls per room and in the Boys hostel three boys per room. Hostels are very big and near to classes and canteen. Hostel charges are 40k per year which is compulsory for all students. Allocations for hostel rooms are random. Menu of canteen is very regular, so many students are look for hotels and foos out of campus.
