Remarks
I didn't apply at any other college & no quota was availed for my admission procedure. I got admission in 1st cutoff that was 85%. For admission, we were asked for all the documents like mark sheet, du form, & any quota document if applicable. Teachers were also helpful & many seniors were also present for helping new applicants.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I was interested in foods & was kind of confused about what to choose between nutrition or dietetics or food technology. So, I thought to explore and opt for the best one. The faculty is good and is there for each subject you choose. The teachers are very friendly & helpful. Term exams were conducted in time & it was all already taught by the teacher.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship projects are sent to us by the teachers. If anyone wants to enrol can opt for them. Part-time & full time both are available for students. Learning courses can also be availed with no amount received.
Placement Experience
I have no idea about placement as I am still in 2nd year. And haven't heard from my seniors too about getting placement. We take admission in masters after doing this course. After getting a degree, I too will opt for Masters in nutrition & dietetics. If I get admission in other du colleges through merit or marks otherwise I will go up with the private university.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost is very fine as compared to other colleges. They only charge 6000 / year for admission. The examination fee is different for each semester. & no more fee is required. I had no scholarship or campus job.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. It has many extra activities going on like NSS, NCC & physical. The ground is also there. The canteen is also there within the college. You can have a good time with friends. But the overall look is not good & spacious. Metro stations are there nearby.
