Remarks

It was the only college I was getting to pursue CSE through my JEE Advance rank. I was getting biotech at IIT Jodhpur or also Ceramic at IIT BHU. Well, for choosing a subject of my interest I had to sacrifice the IIT tag. But I am quite satisfied with the college now.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well the course curriculum is fine. We had a visiting faculty from IIT Kanpur who used to take biology in the first semester. All the professor are quite knowledgeable and helpful and many hold a degree either from old IIT or from a foreign university.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 10 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in the first year, so I did not get a chance to opt for any internship. I am working to acquire skills.

Placement Experience

22 lpa highest by indian oil. lowest is somewhat 6 lpa by byjus. More than 80 % placed. About cse placement can't say as I am the first batch at cse. Majors recruitor were reliance indian oil adani gas etc until now.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this is a government college, there is no chance of fee hike. Now one disadvantage is that it has no policy for student with lower income certificate that they have at all iits and nits. Campus jobs are ok and it is growing rapidly with time.

Campus Life

Well I am a student of Covid batch. Campus is quite good and we get facilities like vollyball court, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, indoor game like pool table, table tennis and others. It is quite good & they are planning to have a swimming pool once the branches increase. We have Kaltarang as the annual cultural fest. Clubs like Sceince & technical clubs, student chapters like ACM, coding club, E Cell social club like GYANARPAN operate and this no. is going to skyrocket in future.

Jee Advance rank is the only basis. I myself have rejected lower branches at a few iits to get cse. There is no other criteria except the JEE ADVANCE rank list.

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
