Remarks
Initially, I wanted to pursue an MBA, but due to circumstances, I decided to pursue a distancing degree. A friend recommended Sikkim Manipal University for MBA, and I discovered that this was an excellent option for distancing education. It was a self-supporting college. I never took an admission exam. We had an exam in our college, which was in Ahmedabad. We also had an internal test and a university exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course content was appropriate and included all of the required elements. Faculty members were really friendly and cooperative. They used to supply all of the required documents and study materials. There were four semesters in all. In the first and second semesters, we must learn all of the subjects, such as HR and accounting. In the third semester, we must choose a specialisation subject.
Placement Experience
Many Bangalore-based organisations, such as MNCs and ITES firms, visit for interviews. We used to get emails from the centre head about the firm that was coming to visit. Because I was already employed, I did not attend any such job placement interviews.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is a total of 150000. I did not receive any scholarships for my MBA, but I did receive a LIC scholarship for my graduation, which was awarded to me based on my 12th grade grades. I used to be paid 11000 each month. Loans are something I'm not sure about.
Campus Life
Sikkim Manipal University is a distance learning institution with several locations around the city. The center where I visited had a decent wi-fi connection and was well-equipped with computers. There are no sporting facilities in the area. During our time there, we were involved in a variety of activities. Every Saturday, for example, we had Saturday activities at the college, which included several technical and practical tests. Role play, logo competition, corporate presentation, and movie presentation were all present. They then gave us one to three winners.
Hostel Facilities
Previously, I stayed in a PG. The rent for a one-bedroom apartment was $4500 per month, excluding electricity. Houses in Bangalore are quite simple to come by, however the owner may or may not be willing to give it to a bachelor female.
