Course Curriculum Overview

About the course details you have your own decision on selecting the Elective subjects. You can select 1 elective of your choice in 4th semester, 2 elective of your choice in 5th semester, 3 elective of your choice in 6th semester. I selected Micro electro magnetic system,Operational research, Industrial management.

There is no internship is provided by the college. Because its a Bachelor degree there is no internship. They will provide details of the company. Joining internship is your option.

Excellent placement when compared to other institute they provide reasonable placement. They also provide placement training courses to enhance your ability how to perform during the placement. They also provides the mock placement. They had tie-up between CTS, IBM.

Big event conducted by KCT is YUGAM for sports and cultural activities this event will last for three to four days and also separate symposium for each and every department. T

For management quota you need to book the seat 6 month before the anna university admission start, i got into by anna university. i did my diploma and got 96 percentage and i selected BE in mechatronics engineering.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Life At KCT

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I applied councelling in which i was offered a several college based on my marks. First i opted CIT coimbatore following psg coimbatore and third option as Kumaraguru College Technology coimbatore. A green campus with welcoming nature for all students.

I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome.
