Remarks

Ranking of the institutions as per MHRD NIRF. Also the location of the institute because demography also matters. Apart from it the alumni and their positions. So these three were the important factors while selecting an institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

One of the best in the nation for faculty and the course structure.Students can choose course as per them interest even from different specialisation and from different branch too. The academic were not much hectic.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

Generally all the students gets placed depending on their respective interests of their field. Many of them opt for higher studies too or government services like UPSC or state services. More than 150 companies visits during the campus placement comprising of both national and international.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being GATE Qualified we were entitled for MHRD scholarship on monthly basis but apart from it one can apply for various other scholarships.Being one of the best IIT, the placement opportunities are also good.

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs. Campus is one of the greatest attractions and is lush green and on the banks of bramhaputra.Considering clubs, there are more than 50 clubs and is open for everyone which are active through out the year and given the option to participate in various national and inter IIT events.

No there are not any Gd On interview because we are getting admitted via GATE exam which is already conducted by MHRD, govt of India. But there are some IIT which conductWritten exam and interview even after considering GATE exam

A beautiful college

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my branch. But in recent times there is a dip in coming companies.Average package of my branch is 8 lpa and highest goes around 21 lpa. Almost 80 percent students get placed and others choose phd. My plan is to get a good package job.

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
