Open review- MNNIT

I dreamt of opening my own company one day so I opted for MBA and doing it from an reputed institute like MNNIT makes the task a bit easier. The institute guarantees 100% placement for MBA students. I had given CAT exam for taking admission. MNNIT is ranked 48 out of 100 by NIRF and 70 by Business Today in 2020. MNNIT provides ample opportunities for career development.

There are more than 54 courses in MNNIT. I chose Marketing in MBA but there are options for HRM and Finance as well. The professors are vastly experienced with more than 20 years of experience and they are helpful in solving our queries. Discussions, brainstorming, lecturing and case study methods are used for better understanding. Semester exams are taken twice in the academic year and the questions are moderate.

Everybody has to participate in the summer internship program. I got a internship in HDFC Bank but there are many other options like Berger Paints, BYJU?ÛªS etc. I had a paid internship and it ran for 10 weeks for which I was paid 10000 rupees.

MNNIT has a record of 100% placement during the last three years. Final year students are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies visit our campus and the top recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys and many more. The highest package offered to my department last year was 10 lpa while the average CTC was 5 lpa .

The semester fee of my MBA program is 91000 rupees which sums up to 180000 rupees annually and 360000 rupees in two years. You can pay the money in various instalments. The top 5 students is given scholarship by MNNIT. UP government gives scholarship to the financially weak students. There is no scope for campus jobs as we have to be more dedicated towards our academics.

The MNNIT campus provides various facilities like health centre, Student activities centre, C-DAC, Banking inside the campus and so on. The library is huge and consists of various project work, hand book, , journals and many more books. AVISHKAR and CULRAV are the fests organized every year. J. LAL and JOSH are the annual sports meet. Hangout places like cafeteria and food zones are provided within the campus.

The hostel is fully furnished and proper hygiene is maintained. The hostel has high speed Wi-Fi all over. The registration for hostels are done during the admission process. Facilities of various indoor games like volleyball, table tennis is provided to us. The mess provides quality food and the menu changes regularly.

I had faced both GD and PI round. A topic was given in GD about GST and we were given 15 minutes. Academic questions and personality check was done in the PI round. Leadership skills was judged through this rounds. The CAT score along with these GD and PI rounds were combined to make a list for the final admissions. My coaching classes before these rounds helped me gain a lot of confidence.
