MBA in MNNIT

Ranked 93 in NIRF Overall Rankings. After going through the prospectus. I decided to fill the online form. I was asked to submit 12th marksheet scoring 68% and 65% in BBA. I had to give CAT exam in which I scored 85%. After few days I got the call for the selection.

The Institute has been recognized by the Government of India as one of the centres for the Quality Improvement Programme for M.Tech. and Ph.D. The MBA program offered by the institute is based on a dynamic curriculum and evolves various aspects such as project work and group learnings to enhance the growth of students. The Institute has been selected as a Lead Institution under World Bank funded Government of India Project on Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) (2002-2007). The faculty members of this university are highly experienced, very helpful and friendly. Most of them are PhDs and all of them are ready to clear students?Ûª doubts round the clock.

Roles offered are of business analyst, assistant manager, etc. Every individual student got an internship from reputed companies in our batch as well. I got an opportunity to work in a reputed MNC with a stipend.

The training and placement cell of MNNIT helps students in developing their communication and soft skills, and general aptitude. MNNIT training and placement cell organises placement drives and is responsible for maintaining good institute-industry relations. Almost 90% of the students were placed the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 6 lpa . The lowest salary package offered was 3 lpa . The average salary package offered was 4.2 lpa . Top recruiters were Berger paints, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and many more. Top roles offered include business analyst, business developer and various other marketing roles.

My course was of 2 years for which I paid total fees around 90,000. Every year, I paid approximately 1,80,000 each. I didn't get the scholarship but I got the financial aid help that helped me pay my fees.

It believes in balancing academics with sports facilities. Therefore, the university has playgrounds for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball. In addition to this, there are proper facilities for indoor sports too, like, lawn tennis, gymnasium, etc.

The deemed University has a huge library with over 1,22,600 books and bound periodicals. There are seven hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. MNNIT provides accommodation facility to over 1800 boys and 145 girls.The college infrastructure is excellent. There is well-equipped lab and classes are fully air-conditioned. There is a central library on campus and one library of own department. Mess food is although good but I prefer eating in the canteen.

A personal interview (PI) is conducted to comprehend my attitude towards management education and evaluate my ability in terms of Self and Social Awareness, Self-Management, Leadership, etc. I was very confident while answering the questions and was even praised by the professors.
