Remarks
I had applied for all government universities of Haryana, but through the counselling of hstes I was given the University. I have a quota in JEE mains but at the time of admission, I have no quota due to being a resident of other states. The admission criteria in BTech in gju is JEE mains exam. And you must have 55% in the 12th exam. The admission process is in hands of hstes, they organise two online counselings for admission, I got admission through 2nd counselling. After two counselling through here's there is open counselling which is only for admission in gju.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose b.tech printing because it is something unique that I can do and it's a rare course in India, I have a great passion for BTech. The student teacher ratio in gju is 100:1. All the teachers are highly qualified, and they all have cleared net exam mostly teachers are PhD holder doctorate. But some subjects are taught by PhD students, but they are not least in teaching, they also teach very well. The exams taken by University is monthly and termly. The level of the exam is average if anybody wants to pass the exams, he/she can pass by just revising previous year question papers. But if you want to score highly you have to study hard.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by University for 2nd year students. If any student from the first year wants to do an internship he/she can find it on its own. Some of the famous companies that provide internships to our university students are the tribune, Dainik Bhaskar,s chand etc.
Placement Experience
Training and placement cell of University tries to provide jobs to every single student of University. They also provided internships to the students of every year. 85% of students of University get placed at mnc companies with a good package. My plan after getting a degree is to get a good profile job at any highly profiled mnc University through the training and placement cell of gju University.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees taken by University is average that neither too much expensive nor too much cheap. I am an outer state student, so I have not received any scholarship yet. But the students of Haryana can get a large number of scholarships. Like greebi Bhatta, Category scholarship, and national scholarship etc. The financially unstable student gets fee confessions through University.
Campus Life
There are different grounds available for different games. Both indoor and outdoor games and activities are runners by the university. For example - table tennis, volleyball, Cricket etc. A gym is also provided inside the campus. Monthly tournaments of different games and other curriculum are also organised by University. Different groups and clubs are made in university to improve the skills of students like - speakonthon club , aazadi amritohsav club etc.
