Remarks

After JEE Advanced, i applied for MIT-WPU which takes admission on the basis of JEE-Main. As soon as i got my JEE Advanced result, i was happy and sure that i will get a seat in JOSAA counseling but sadly got IIT Jammu Civil which was not my part, so i applied for IIPE and RGIPT which also takes admission on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. At the end of November, i got shortlisted for computer science and engineering at RGIPT and our classes started on the 4th of January.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here, for 1st year we are having 15 to 20 faculties (assistant + associate) for CSE ,ECE ,PE ,CE (160+ students total ). Teaching and methodology in my college are just awesome and outstanding, we are surely under the cover of some great researchers and professors. Yes, term exams are like little stressful for students here but anyway we did really well in them too.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

At RGIPT, PSU's gives internships in the regular summers and winter for PE and ChE branches. CSE and ECE can also try to get an opportunity for tech. companies that come to campus like Wipro, Algo8.Ai etc.

Placement Experience

For petroleum and chemical, we are having PSU's like shell, ONGC , OIL , HPCL , IOCL that offer on-campus jobs of an average package of 11 lpa and the highest package of 23 lpa. For tech, CSE and ECE are established this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i belong to general category with no fees issues i think 10,00,000 for a college of national importance like IIT's is pretty acceptable, though we have fee hiking policy also for those whose family income is less than 5,00,000 yearly. Here, I got a stipend for working under one of our professor for a research project within my first year.

Campus Life

Since it's our very first CSE batch here, so we established ACM RGIPT Student chapter, E-CELL RGIPT , Codechef College Chapter and many more. We are having great annual fests of sports and cultural like kaltarang and energia which is a moment to enjoy for offline only. All the student chapter of tech purpose have their websites working currently.

Hostel Facilities

We are having a comfortable bed, chair, table for safe and better accomodation, we are also having a lan wifi available for each port and around campus wifi facility. We are also having a mess where we are served wich much better meals.

Hostel Fee: INR 7500 per year

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
