My College Experience

AIEEE, KITTEE Entrance Exams. KIIT is the best Engineering College in Odisha with all facilities, infrastructure, Teaching process, Social life, Enjoyment etc.

In 4yrs of B.Tech life we were provided a good laptop with 24hr of wi-fi facilities. Good books with extra study materials were also provided by our faculties. KIIT always focuses on both practical & book study. It also divides all the courses into 8 semesters in a proper manner. So that there are some interlink to the courses studied in previous semester.

In my time, there was no specific internships. However it provides many external courses which will be helpful for any individual and campus & placement.

There is a dedicated department in KIIT which is only meant for campus & placement with many experience faculties. Many companies come to KIIT for recruitment and KIIT poses more than 95% of placement. Well reputed companies come for recruitment and mass recruiter companies also come as well.

Every year KIIT organises Tech Fest and cultural fest specially in the month of February. Some fests are organised by Department wise and some are common for all. We participate, organise and enjoy a lot in our fest. Winner of every department also poses certificate & prize as well.

The fee structure is little bit expensive which is manageable. It provides all facilities like a well infrastructure buildings for classes, Hostels, Indoor & outdoor sports, Gym, buses, library in every department & a big common library as well, Mess, books, good speed of Wi-Fi, dedicated laptop. Indoor sports in every hostels and in indoor stadiums as well which are dedicated to each department.

I did not avail but loan facilities are available for the students who wants. Good scholarships are also available for bright students. They can go for good internships outside with proper justification.

Every year KIIT organises Alumni meetings in different areas of India which connects all individual KIITIANS once a year. Yes these meeting are very helpful. We can gain more knowledge from our seniors and can also give our knowledge to our juniors.

Per semester there are 2 exams per paper with total of 100 marks. Internal & final Semester. As KIIT is a deemed University questions are prepared by it's own faculties. Exam Structure is also very good. Questions are not very easy and are not very tough as well. With proper dedication to any paper, you can score a very good mark.

I got admission in KIIT via KIITEE Entrance exam. I've scored good marks in this entrance exam & got selected in KIIT. Admission process is also very simple. You just need to score a good mark in AIEEE or KIITEE entrance exam which is only dedicated to KIIT college.

All faculties are very well educated and poses a very well known degree from reputed colleges as well. For particular courses, there are dedicated faculties available. Hostels & collages are not very far from each other. So faculties can come to hostel if required.
