Remarks

I didn't apply for any other college apart from Siliguri Govt Polytechnic. No, I don't have any quota. the minimum age was 16 and the maximum rank needed to be selected is 14000. The admission process was very good. Our counseling was done online.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science & Technology. The faculty of our college was very helpful and friendly. There were about 55 students in our department. The faculty members were highly qualified and there were professors who were even gold medalists. The teaching method was very easy and catchy. Two semesters per year. we needed to study hard to get good marks.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for attending the campus placement. I don't remember much about the company names. The highest package would be about 180000 per year. about 30% of the students would get the job. i plan on studying for govt jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost was very low because it was a govt college. I don't have much knowledge about scholarships. I didn't get any job from the campusing. There are some scholarships that I am not aware of. so I could not provide any information regarding that field.

Campus Life

There used to be two fests each year. One for new students and another for the departing students of that year. The name of our annual fest was Renesas. All the books we needed were present in the library. we could get it. One inter-college sport was organized every year. I don't have any knowledge regarding any website run by our college students.

GOOD AND BIG COLLEGE CAMPUS IN DURGAPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

As civil department allows for both private and government job, so I selected this course. Faculty: student ratio is 40:60. All faculty are being post graduate and also teaching method is also good. In one year there is 2 semester and also class mock test, internal exam.

Placement Experience:

As I am in the second year 3rd semester so I have not faced any campus placement yet. But I heard from senior students that they got lots of opportunities in campus drives like BYJUS, Hrid Motors, Rucha Engineers, Mando Automotive, DBSI, and JAYA HIND.

Placement Experience:

Mainly the students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th Semester. Many companies visited in our college the most common company was Tata Steel, l&t, TCS, etc. The highest average package provides by the company is tata company, the package was most about 30000rs. Almost 50% of students are gate a job from our college and others are gated a new govt job or go to Btech. My plan is simple. After completing college, I want to achieve a govt job.

Remarks:

As this is the Ramkrishna Mission when we got into the college we feel very peaceful and go to the Mandir we can feel the peace. The environment of the colleges so good everywhere so many trees and there is a very big playground for all students to play with every day.

One of the best Govt. Diploma Engineering colleges in India

Remarks:

Principal Maharaj, teaching and non-teaching staff, present and ex-students always feel proud of the college. This is the best government diploma engineering college in West Bengal. The college campus is very peaceful. The students get a very good platform for their future.

Oky so I applied for many colleges in the counselling time but those colleges were very far from my hometown and Siliguri government polytechnic college comes at top 10 colleges for this diploma course and Also I came on a merit basis My 10th marks were asked and they gave me a rank and then I had to go for counseling and admission process for which I came to Siliguri made my admission. My Review about our college SGP

You have to qualify the Secondary examination from any recognized board with 35%. You have to score 30% in Maths, Science and English.
