Remarks

I have applied in this college only Yes i have availed management qouta for admission For this u have to give IPU CET exam compulsory of your preferred course. You have to pass out 12th and the minimum percentage required is minimum 60% The admission process is very easy

Course Curriculum Overview

I have to pursue event management and content writing in future so i have opted for this course .Also there are many sub courses under this which helped me to decide what is best for me. The faculty members are very friendly and easy to contact any time . Student ratio is around 120 in one batch. All of them must have done higher studies in there preferable course. The teaching method is too god and they explain everything through presentation. We give exams four times in one year and the exams are least difficult.

Internships Opportunities

They provide different Internship every week on mail and each internship has different company and different stipend. We have done the internship in creative writing feild for one month and then provided summer training report on it to college.

From third semester they have started providing us placements They provide 60-70 percentage placement to students I want to pursue in event management after completing my course and side by side i want to do masters in journalism and mass communication.

Campus Life

They conduct two fest each year i.e SARAS AND VARCHASVA They organise saras in april and varchasva in October. All the books are available in the library related to each course They provide air conditioners , projecters , laptop , podiums and comfortable benches in each classroom. They provide workshops webinar sports related activities and vist to media houses . We have different Pages on Instgram of each club like singing, dancing , poetry's etc.

Students become eligible from 4th year to sit in placements. Famous companies like NDTV, News 24 , India today, ABVP,etc comes for placement. Highest package was 1200000 per annum and 300000 per annum is average package. Profiles offered are reporter,research executives, content creator, anchor, field reporter,etc I will go for anchoring after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

The Glimpse of DSJ

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. If you exit your college after bachelor you might get placement from outside campus.

I choose this college mainly because it is close to my home, which makes travelling much easier.Accordingly to my rank, this was the college I was alloted during the admission process.
