Average Placements, Nice campus, Great Crowd

Admission is done via HSTSE which covers almost every technical college/uni. of Haryana. The min cutoff to get CSE as a general candidate was somewhat around 91 percentile and that was in physical counseling. There are 2-3 online counseling in which the minimum general cutoff was around 94-95 percentile and for OBC candidates it was about 93 percentile. HSTSE provides extra relaxation for female candidates, for them the cutoff comes down significantly.

The course curriculum is average as per my perspective. 1st-year curriculum, From the second year onwards you gonna actually get some knowledge of your main course. The maximum of the staff is kinda helpful. A few teachers are really good at teaching but some aren't made for teaching.

Various companies give opportunities for internships. In the year 2020 maximum stipend one got was around 20000/month by a well-known tech company. But only a few students get internships in their 3rd year.

Students from the final year are eligible for campus placements. TCS is one of the mass recruiters here which gives the minimum package amount i.e. around 4 lakhs/annum the maximum one can get via campus is around 10 lakhs/annum while one can easily try for off-campus placement and fetch a handsome package. Around 90% of students in CSE get placed somewhere. Other branches have very low campus placement opportunities. Whoever lefts mostly go for higher studies.

The fee structure is really good, after observing the facilities we are getting as in a government university it's really great. It is like value for money. A lot of colleges are charging a lot of money for minor stuff but no such charges are there. Talking about internship opportunities, although many students get opportunities to get hands-on training it all depends upon the student.

Campus life is really great. Nice crowd. Students from various States come together here. Ranging free campus, beautiful hostel life. Gym facilities and various sports stadiums are there. Various social clubs are also present to take part.

Hostels too are really affordable. There are 4 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels available. Hostel rooms are allotted via online registration through the university website. Rooms available can be considered average. The mess is available in each hostel building which is managed by private firms. If you are bored with the mess at some time then, Many restaurants are present near campus so enjoying a great meal in a week or two isn't a big deal.
