I passed my diploma and decided to join vidyalankar for engineering. Vidyalankar is one of the top most colleges in mumbai.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good, we have a different department for different courses. All the curriculum is completed by the staff. We have a big library with a capacity of around 150 students. There are 2 such library in the college. We also have free wi-fi for study purpose.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college do provide internship. The general stipend is around 1.5k to 2.5k. It is mostly during the vacation period.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are very good. We have a large amount of companies visiting our campus. Infosys has partnership with vidyalankar Around 100+ students get the job in infosys per year. Work application also visits vidyalankar with a packages of 35 lakhs per year.
College Events
There are a lot of events celebrated in our college. We have a cultural team made by the students and events like singing, dancing, quiz etc. Also we have our own festival known as VERVE. It is at the start of the year we also celebrate teachers day.
Fees and Financial Aid
There ia scholarships for the caste students. Like reduction of fees some caste students have to pay only the 10% of the fees. And also form 2016 There are scholar ships for the open category students who score more than 60% . And have a annual income of less than 6 lakh.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is 50-50. There are the same number of girls to boys. There is no ragging allowed in our college. The extra curricular activities are quiet fun.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very good for the students. We have holiday for each paper we also get special lectures for the exams. And also important questions are taught to us before the final exam. The exams are kept in the afternoon so that students do not have the travelling issue.
