The college I have choosen for.

I have applied for Contai Pravat Kumar College but I have not taken admission there because of their bad departmental records.I have also applied for Midnapore Day College but I was not selected for the course because of my low merit point. I have not availed any quota for my admission because I have none.Many students with better merit point can't get admission for this bad system like the reservation for quota,and this is the worst thing in education in my opinion.This system should be changed as soon as possible. Admission was held in basis of our merit list.I got admission after declaration of second merit list.Merit list is prepared with your HS total number and the number of the subject you selected for course in the college.If you name is in the merit list only then you are eligible for admission. The students mentioned in the merit list have to pay the fees and lock the subject after the declaration of merit list. Then document verification occurs for the counseling.

I have choosen the course because of the love and passion in me for the subject.And also the subject gives the opportunity to many fields with great interests.I also have highest number in this subject in HS. Student ratio is near about 80:1, But when practical classes occurs then the student ratio decrease to 10:1 to 20:1. Professor are very good they teaches us properly with black board , some time they teaches us with projector,computers, instruments needed in practicals . Most of the teachers have PhD in the subject.Some of them have completed their higher education from IIT. Exams are conducted two times in a year and also an internal exam is conducted in every semester.The exams are standard in level.These are not very deficult to pass.

It cost about 800 for every semester which is held for near about 6 months. And for every year we have to pay near about 3500 which consists of 2 semesters. I have got only Bikash Bhaban which is 18000 per annum.

There is nothing like the annual fest or tech fest in this college. In library there are plenty of books in every subjects.There is a collection of vintage books and news paper in the college library.Many foreign and Indian authors are available in the list of the writers of the books. There are many amenities in the class rooms,like you can use college wifi which is available in every calssroom. Classrooms are very hygienic with air and light can passes through. There is many scope for sports like cricket , Football, Badminton etc.In extra curricular activities you can write in magazines in depertment of yours.
