Course Curriculum Overview

The courses provided in the college are to the point and the number of students who pursue these course for sure become successful in life Many students got greater opportunities after completing their courses here Here the fees of the course is very minimal according to other colleges

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is there this year companies like tcs , Mahindra , lic and many others came for placement drive and many students were selected for the placement And the package wer also good Starting from 1lpa to 3lpa average in the starting

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of the course is around 40 k And it is not increasing from many years as it is a government aided college a minimal fees is required for pursuing the course Scholarship is provided by the state government which is 18 k per year for the eligible students

Campus Life

Our college has its annual function in the auditorium or in the college ground every year On this day the councillor of our city is invited And many big entertainers are also invited to perform which we love the most

Admission

I prefer this college over other because this college has a supportive campus and all the people here are very generous and eager to help you in every part of your life Quality of education is here Teachers are well known for the success of their students and their own research

Faculty

The faculty is very good They are elected after clearing govt level exams And are highly knowledgeable persons in real They motivate us to do well in life and in exams also Principal sir is very helpful and the whole staff is supportive

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.
