Remarks

A unique course in India at the master level is a Master of Science in mathematics and computing. Clean and Green Campus. I got admission through IIT JAM Mathematics. Cutoffs for admission were around AIR 450 in 2019. Placements are very good and increasing every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of master of science in mathematics and computing includes courses from mathematics, statistics and computer science. Every course has specialized faculties to teach. There are 4 quizzes, 1 mid sem and 1 final examination in every semester.

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 77300 per year

Placement Experience

Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements. Almost all the best companies come for campus placements including Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, JPMorgan, PhonePe, Linkwiz, Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest package for Software engineer profile is INR 4500000 per annum. The average is around INR 1500000 per annum. Around 70% of students got placed after their degree. I am placed in a good company at CTC of INR 6.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is as usual and includes hostel and mess fee. Generally, the fee hike is not very much every year. Various scholarships are also available like Merit-cum means (MCM) Scholarship. It helps needy people for affordable learning. The Campus placements are also good.

Campus Life

There are various clubs for student activities like Yoga, drama, cyber, photography, etc. Also, a good student complex is maintained for such activities. There is a health centre in the institute. Srijan is the annual cultural fest of the institute.

Hostel Facilities

In a single room, there are two cots, one fan, one wardrobe, and one chair. The menu of the hostel meals is very good. Hygienic and delicious food is offered in hostels. There is no separate registration process for the hostel and is included in the fee payable to the institute during registration.

5th sem you get the placement in goods company. Tata motors of gujrat visited in our campus to get the new freshers in our college. The highest package of our college is 1000000 avg is 300000 to 500000. The students of getting placement 75% . My plan get the degree to do business.

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

All things to be considered before taking admission in BIT

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible for placement the companies visited are google,jindal,TCS, aakash,PWetc.the highest package offered was 25LPA and the average was 5-6LPA.the place percentage was 60-70% because there are students who is preparing for civil services,GATE,etc.My plan was to crack GATE and get placed in one of the PSU's.

BIT Mesra Review in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6th sem students are eligible for placements. All major tech giants you name it like Google, Microsoft,Walmart,Atlassian,Flipkart,Visa,Texas Instruments,Arcesium,Salesforce..... etc do visit the campus for the placement and around there are around 250+ companies visiting. Highest offered was around 51 lakhs and average for CSE is around 21Lakhs. Percentage of students placed is close to 90%.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
