Remarks

First thing is that it is a reputed deemed university in the region, it's a new university to offer b.tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. Previously the university was offering only masters and Phd programs. So, I made survey before taking the admission to this university. Then I came to know that the professors here are from reputed Institutes like IIT's, IISC and NIT's. And also the university is equipped with Advanced laboratories, More over this university in the midst of many small and medium scale industries and also few large scale industries. So here the student will get an opportunity to get internships/projects from around the industries. Where he/she can work alongside with the industries. These are the good aspects of college. The bad aspect is probably the tight schedule.Admission process:- They accept KCET (Karnataka Common Admission Test), COMEDK entrance exam ranking. Usually good ranking fetches good course in this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

About Course Curriculum, it will be revised yearly as per industrial requirements. There are some interdisciplinary courses like Mechatronics, Data science etc. these courses are provided as open elective so that student can correlate with his/her core subjects. This is the best option provided by the university, by taking these kind of courses it will help the students while doing their projects and also helps them compete with the outside world. About academics, In a semester there will be 2-tests and 1-sem end examination along with 2-assignments this follows for all the semesters (First to Eight sem). If a student faces any backlogs then he/she can clear it in vacation immediately after completion of semester. During this eight semester program, the students will be having two projects namely minor and major. Generally this happens in 6th and 8th semester respectively.About Faculties, They are of great experienced Professor's with good quality in teaching. Most of them are from IIT's, NIT's, IISC and from good state universities. Most of them hold Phd's. They help the students in every aspects as far as the academics is concerned.

Internships Opportunities

5

Usually Professors will help the students getting their internship in very few cases. Since the University is located in industrial area, the students will have an opportunity to approach for different industries/company for internship/project.

Placement Experience

3.5

About Placements, The University will get good MNC's and Private Limited companies every year for different branches. They will also get some good companies from Dubai and Japan.Students from Branches like Computer science, Electronics and Communication will get very good placements here compared to core branches like Mechanical, Electrical and Civil.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fee is around 80000 INR this remains same until completion of course so the total fees will be around 320000 INR.Scholarships:- The university does not provide any scholarship, So if the student is from Karnataka of reserved category (OBC, SC & ST) will get the benefit of scholarship from Karnataka state government.Financial assistance:- The university does not provide such benefits, but it will support for using their laboratories any time as long as the student departs from here.

Campus Life

4.5

The life in campus is awesome, Student will get good feel as long as he/she was in the university. The annual fest is conducted every year in the month of March, every year they get some great personality for the fest, Generally it will be conducted for 3-days continuously . Each and every day will be planned with different themes and extracurricular activities like mannequin challenge, Dance, Singing competition etc.Apart from this there were various clubs like Music club, Debate club, Anti ragging club, Sports club etc. Here the students will get more exposure.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ????
