Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

All in all in combined one year we have around 30+ subjects and in each trimester you have more than 10 subjects but that varies like some we have 11, some have 10 and the exam difficulty I would say It is a bit high but It is manageable like if your attention to class you can easily manage the course. Other than that, every course is different so like there is no like set standard that this has to be done. It is been a bit tuff for me because I believe my interaction capability is limited when it comes to online. So, I think that in an offline set up this would have been much better, the experience would have been much better, probably would have made a lot more connection than currently. But as per as learning was online course way like don't hamper learning much excepting cases on some subjects.

Internships Opportunities

5

I'm not aware of the figure for the stipend. It's mentioned in the report you can check that out. But other than that most people target consulting & finance roles and even marketing roles because some big companies do come here to recruit and in the consulting domain you have MBB, then you have major banks and in marketing, you have big FMCG companies who come to recruit. So, summer placements for us were seamless only and I would say that there was 100% placement. So, it went on ok, even they doubt due to online mode might not have a good placement.

Placement Experience

5

For final placement, big companies mostly come, some companies do not come. They only recruit during the summer season and they rely on the PPO process. Other than that, you will have big companies and consulting like MBB and all. They do come for the final result and some backed banks also come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The whole course like including accommodation, tuition, and everything the cause around 24 lakhs as is mentioned on the website but you would need some amount for your personal expenses probably like 5-10 thousand per month depending on your own personal expenditure. Most people do not avail mess food and mess food is not included in the fees. So, you will have to pay for that on your own. Since most people do not avail of mess food, they either eat other food on campus or order from outside. So, depending on that your monthly expenditure would be.There are some scholarships available but I'm not sure about that. I'm not aware that how many people avail themselves of them.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Like the charges are mentioned in the fee structure, I'm not aware of right now but it's available on the website. You can check that out and other than that like the hostels are nice, well build, decent. And the mess food is ok, it is not great but it just gets monotonous after a while.

Admission

I was not really confident that I would be shortlisted for an interview and especially considering my CAT percentile I was a bit on the lower percentile. So, I was not hoping that I would get a call even. Once the shortlisted are out, I realize that I was in for the interview and then I've started preparing for my interview because I was so convinced that anyhow wanted to convert. Cut to the day of my interview, my interview was last in the whole panel. So, they gave me a lot of time and I was quite pretty after that and even the panelists were very tired I could tell. So, when I went into the room, they asked me only a few questions & my interview was all for like 5 minutes. After coming out, I had given up the thought that I would be able to convert it because I felt that I had not performed my best, also I was not given enough time also. So, I just lost all hopes about it and try to other interviews. But once the results came out, I was waitlisted and so again I thought that maybe this waitlist really does fire me. Again I was very disappointed that time. But then after a month, I was in and that was the best for me I think. There only 2 panelists for my interview and both of them were faculty members and they haven't created stress sort of environment but they were not interested in peeking into my interview because their question was very basic and quite random because they asked me questions like ok tell me all the districts in your state. So, I just felt that the interview was just for the shake over and they asked me some basic questions about accountancy, what I had major in my UG. So, that is something related to my academics and they just asked me some intro questions like tell me about yourself and something about that. So, my interview was only around 5-6 questions and all of 5 minutes. So, I just felt that the panel was probably tired, they were not interested in taking my interview and that is what I thought that I would probably not get in.Regarding the WAT process, the topics were very basic. I don't remember all the topics, I don't even remember one topic because it has been more than a year. But the topics were very basic, it was either testing your creativity or your general knowledge and you had to express your views on them. Time was sufficient I would say because I was able to complete whatever thoughts I had in my mind for all these processes. So, I wouldn't say that the time was an issue and as for the moderators, they were not making it uncomfortable, they were quite commutative, and they gave enough time. So, my experience was ok.

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.
