Remarks
I applied for MCKV along with GNIT. But I ended up taking GNIT as my choice because it provides better placement along with good faculty. I didn't apply for any quota. BTech in IT was my option. The students must have PCM as a combination in 12th with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. The age limit should be a minimum of 17 years of age.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since the market demand for IT jobs and IT companies are immensely high nowadays. One has to take a keen interest as well to make a reasonable income to sustain in the market. It is one of the flexible fields any computer science or non computer science students can opt for. College is co-ed. Since my classes are not yet started I can't portray my opinion on this. As far I have heard from my seniors, the teaching faculty is not too bad.
Internships Opportunities
Good companies offer internships and good roles offered to bright students and a good stipend is given. The project is clarified beautifully and the outcomes are good. The project on web development and app development is given. The outcomes are good and help society. College also some times give internship to students.
Placement Experience
Students from the 4th year are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, biskfarm, nestle and many other starts up and small companies visit the campus. Minimum 20k jobs are available for every student. Last year from IT, 40 out of 60 students got placed. Others also got placed in almost every company. The placement is very good here. But the student must not blame the college for not being able to qualify for the job.
Fees and Financial Aid
I can share only the fees for BTech i.e 480000 in total. The college provides other courses like BCA, MTech and many more for which you need to visit the official page. The college provides scholarships. Since I have not been in that phase now I cannot state any random opinion.
Campus Life
They conduct freshers ' fest every year. Due to covid, the last year's freshers party has been an uncertainty to everyone. Classrooms are big and libraries are managed well. The College provides students to pursue their progress in social, cultural and sporting activities.
