Remarks

The counselling day was very good. Counselling was going on smoothly. Within 20 minimum I completed my counselling. There minimum criteria for admission is 12th pass and 50 % above marks. There is no quota for admission. But special facilities for ST/SC/OBC. I choose this college because their facilities are good. And guide carefully, in the college rules maintenance strictly.

I choose this course because I want something in feature and I think it will help me. The facilities are so good. And the relationships between facilities and students are also good. The ratio of facilities: students =1:5. The facilities qualification of facilities: all facilities have master dgree with respective subjects and all have B.ed. The exam of college is not so tough its medium.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Is it totally based on which course students are studying. The annual fee for a b.sc student is INR 2100, a minimum of 10 % of students get a scholarship. Some students get Government scholarships. There is a loan facility but it's difficult. I did not suggest it.

Campus Life

An educational tour is held every year in January. There is a library and have lots of books like many storybooks, reference books, monthly and yearly Patrika and many other additional books. And near about 600 students get to read books there together. In college every year a final sports program is held at the end of the season. And many cultural activities like "Navin Baran" "Rabindra jaunty" "Nazrul Jayanti" "INDEPENDENCE day" "Republic Day" etc A social group is created by our college students to help poor students and maintain the rules of the college.

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

Students get placement offers in the first year of M.Stat. In general, however, most students prefer to go abroad for higher studies. Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. ISI has a 100% placement record for B.Stat- M.Stat students. Companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., JP Morgan & Chase, Amazon, etc. come for placements. The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3.
