Remarks
I applied to juit,srm,uptu colleges. I opt for juit because of NIRF ranking and fees. I did not avail any quota. Criteria are bases on jee main marks and some seats for board marks merit bases. I have to register for counselling on the juit website with a dd of 90000. Counselling was done and seats were provided on merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose cse because of interest and placement. there would be one teacher for 25 students most of the teachers are PhD holders or currently enrolled in PhD. Most teachers are eager to solve your study problems they will solve all your doubts. teachers teach seriously they have an interest in their subjects and wants students to understand their subjects they make efforts in teaching. semester exam is of 35 marks and 2 hours conducted at the end of semester informed about 15-20 days earlier. exams always conducted on time, the difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I did not receive an internship opportunity from college because it is after 3rd year that is after 6th sem. TnP cell provides for industrial training for students. I am currently in the 5th sem, I have not worked anywhere till now.
Placement Experience
students start to be placed in 6 and 7 semesters. many companies visit like paxcom, zs associates, etc decent no of offers are made. the highest package goes around 20 lakh average package would be 4.2 lakh. almost 80% get placement in cse and it. I want a decent placement after a degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the program are 200000/year. the increase is not much about 5-10%. they did not charge hostel fees during covid and gave 20% off in program fees. scholarship for highest marks. financial assistance to families with low income. no job on campus.
Campus Life
there is an annual fest and tech fest by ACM and iiie. take any book from the library it has all the books and the library is on 3 floors. the classroom is centrally heated. cricket team, basketball, volleyball, badminton, football team, sports club,nati group and many more clubs and committees.
Hostel Facilities
rooms are centrally heated have one fan small but the view from the balcony is heaven because of the mountains. let me tell you, you will not get hostel food here, you will get hotel food, meals are really of quality and truly unlimited REALLY CLEAN AND TASTY. food is really best here. fill for hostel during counselling. 100000/year. there are pgs available but opting hostel is preferable.
