Entrance Preview

I took admission on 12th standard cut off list for the college. I choose B Com H as the course give vast information and knowledge about commerce field and has better scope than any other course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wouldnt say research but course involves vast knowledge and information of accounts, economics (both macro n micro, indian and world), statistics, marketing, financial management. Course helps in laying expertise base to start a career in commerce field.

Internships Opportunities

We had a central delhi university placement cell but not for our college seperately. So was bit difficult to find a job that time. I didnt even sit in delhi university placement cell as there were all colleges student. And only 2-3 renound co.s came for recruitment like KPMG and Genpact. As i was not recruited, m not sure of stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was really simple and inexpensive. We used to deposite annual college fee that was around INR 5000-6000. So in total course fee wa around INR 15000-20000. So fee was vry reasonable. Additionally, there was examination fee every year of INR 1200-1500. And yeah admission fee of INR 6-8k.

Exam Structure

We used to have internal and external exams in a year for 1st 2nd and 3rd year. So exams were kind of chilled but after i left semester system was introduced for delhi university. Labs used to get us occupied most of the times. And we used to enjoy lab sessions also.

Admission

College declares 1st 2nd 3rd 4th n 5th cut off list for admission. I scored well in 12th standard and got into college on basis of 1st cut off only because of my good score. Then all the documents were verified and lastly after fee submission i was granted admission.

Faculty

Faculty of college was really informative and experienced. Even our college principal used to teach us economics which was really a great thing. Every session was very knowledgable especially accounts and economics. All teachers really put efforts in laying a strong base for all the students. All teachers were highly qualified and skilled in their fields.

the placement and internship cell of the college is very active through out the year and many opportunities are given. for the placement offers , students from 3rd years and above and graduates are eligible. and for the internship, typically students from every year can apply. but the company can make its prefernce.

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Choose bcom program and it a good choice for me. Commerce department is very helpful and supportive. Teacher are very helpful and kind to every student. Time table needs to change because class starts from 8:40am and ends 5:00pm . This needs big change

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
