Entrance Preview

Jee Main, I got 223 in mains and 92% in CBSE Boards Rank - 8760, Branch - ECE. I opted for IIITD, because it has a wonderful infrastructure and have interesting course structure and helps to curate a better person out of everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is best, that you can have here in India. The curriculum is completely accessed after few months and then possible changes are done. The curriculum is designed to create a hardworking being out of you and help you develop your interest as it gives you a variety of options to develop love towards any one field.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they give us an overview of many internships opportunities.Companies like amazon, Linkedin, Directi visits to campus and take a lot of students for summer internships. The stipend varies from 50k to 90k. People really get through a great experience in real world, except this students go through many other internships available outside.

Placement Experience

5

Placements and job opportunities are great here. We have been able to place 95% students of B.Tech CSE and 93.33 % M.Tech CSE. IIIT-Delhi provides a platform to facilitate interaction between students and companies, so both can find the best match as per their aspirations and requirements. We highly value our partnership with recruiters & remain committed to making your recruiting experience productive and positive.

Fees and Financial Aid

IIITD has been recognised by all banks, and there is some scheme under which you can get loans under low rates specified by RBI. The college itself has partnered with Delhi govt. loan schemes and provides the loan in partnering with PNB Bank. Scholarships for those who get's rank lower than 2000 in JEE Mains and for students from low-income families.

Exam Structure

Yes, they create a real hectic day for you but this how they develop you. It really helps us in making us a hardworking being which really puts a lot of time in things that interest you, and by the time you reach the second year, you doesn't feel much busy. It helps you manage your time and do what really interests you.

Admission

Admission was through JAC, a joint admission process for DTU, IIITD, NSIT, and IGDTUW. Form rolled out in July after jee main ranks were declared. I filled out choices and got IIITD ECE in the first round, it was my second preference so, I was expecting that I will get my first preference by the end of 3rd round, but I didn't get it. There is one spot round too, which happens after 4 rounds of preference based admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty is also good, they are highly qualified. Each has a Ph.D. degree and are highly trained for the field they are teaching for, they really know what all needs to be taught. what is happening in outside world in that field and curating the course in that direction to create future-ready students who can really create something out there.

The College provides placements and has a dedicated Placement Cell and each year people graduate with low to high pay packages. The students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester. There are various companies that visit our campus and 5 such companies are: Accenture, ZS Associates, Infosys, ION Group, RTDS. The highest package on-campus is provided by ION Group of 17 lpa. The average package is 4 to 5 lpa. There are 80% to 90% students placed every year. I am also planning of getting a job after the degree and currently sitting for placements in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing a B.Tech in Computer Science stems from a strong interest in technology. The coursd curriculam is appealing due to its well-rounded structure, covering a wide range of computer science topics like Artificial Intelligence. The flexibility to choose elective courses aligns with personal interests. The faculty, recruited through a rigorous process, is well-qualified. They use various teaching methods, including lectures and practical activities. While the faculty-to-student ratio is good, seeking feedback from students can provide insights into teaching styles. Exams occur every 2.5 months, balancing mid and end-semester assessments. The weightage distribution between exams and internal assessments is favorable, allowing a holistic evaluation. The exams are described as moderately difficult, striking a balance for student success.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree
