Entrance Preview

Based on CENTAC 2000 as well as on 12th Board Exam Marks. That time, PEC was the one & only Government Engineering College in Pondicherry. Moreover, the Faculty, College Reputation, Standard of Teaching, Ambience & Locality.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, during our time, Internships were provided but not a paid one. Learning outcomes for industrial training. Ability to demonstrate the use, interpretation and application of an appropriate international engineering standard in a specific situation. Ability to analyse a given engineering problem, identify an appropriate problem.

Admission

Through CENTAC 2000 as well as on 12th Board Exam Marks. CENTAC Application form was procured from Government Agencies as well as from PEC administrative office. The notification was well received after our Board Exams and was circulated in the local newspapers, banks, other agencies.

Faculty

The academic staff comprises experienced faculty from diverse fields. The high caliber of the staff comes across through the composition of the faculty consisting of professionally qualified individuals. The college extracts several visiting faculties from the industry, thus incorporating their practical experience into teaching.

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
