Remarks

I applied in counseling only in Galgotia college of engineering and technology and in the first round, I got selected in this college. I did not apply for any quota for admission. There are no such admission criteria and only the upsee counseling process and direct admission are also possible. The admission process was too good and the admission counselor also helped in guiding the admission process.

I've always had an interest in programing language and also a keen interest in solving real-life problems. Boys to girl ratio are almost 70:30 percent. Faculty members are well highly educated. The exams came early due to covid -19 conditions

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee to the college is a total of Rs. 125603/- year. I've applied for a two-year program and the total fee is 251206/- of two years. The scholarship is still not provided yet and no financial aid is provided.

Campus Life

Due to the covid-19 conditions, I was not able to attend the classes on the premises. I'd taken the online session of classes in which we were only taught about our co-subjects and not involved in any such physical activities or sports.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
