- Hostel facilities are either limited or nor available for all students
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this course includes hands-on lab sessions and mini projects with real-time exposure, and the MCA curriculum is designed to match software industry requirements which made it a good fit for me Final exams range from easy to moderate, depending upon the subject. Subjects with more theory can be a bit tricky Some subjects are outdated or taught only theoretically which makes them boring, so teachers should adopt more interactive and modern teaching methods to keep students engaged and skill-ready.
Placement Experience
campus placements starting from 5th semester (usually in final year of MCA course). Common job roles that companies offers here are Software Developer, Web Developer, Support Engineer etc and average salary package is around 3-3.5 LPA My plans after completing MCA is to apply to product-based companies and startups using platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri and coding competitions
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission in Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute Of Management And Development Studies through Counselling. Below is the fees structure that I paid- 1st Year - Library Fees : Rs 7500 Uniform Fees : Rs 6000 Exam Fees : Rs 7500 which means total of Rs 21000 in first year 2nd Year - Library Fees : Rs 7500 Exam Fees : Rs 7500 which means total of Rs 15000 in second year
Campus Life
The college organises both technical and cultural festivals every year, which really add vibrancy to campus life. One famous event of our college is Ritkriti held in October month College also organises a technical fest in which coding contests, project exhibitions and technical quizzes are organised. Apart from all this college also organises activity classes every week to enhance students' soft skills. Students can access the library easily during college hours and even request books if they are unavailable.
Admission
Admission in this college is done through a centralised counselling process conducted by the state government, and students must have completed a bachelor's degree with mathematics as a subject in the 12th or graduation to be eligible for admission in this college. I chose this college because I got an FW seat with minimal fees, which was not available in other private colleges
Faculty
the faculty-to-student ratio is fairly balanced. In practical sessions, the batches are smaller while theory classes may have 50-60 student per class Most of the faculty members are helpful and approachable. They clarify our doubts and guide us in projects and internships outside academics
Night Life
The library is open till 5:00 Pm and not accessible late at night The cafeteria usually shuts down by 5:30 Pm .It is a good spot to hang out during day Hostel timing is usually around 7:00 Pm and entry and exit are restricted after set timings for safety Outside college student often visit nearby cafes, tea stalls and fast food joints for a break.
