I wrote the IIT JEE exam, however i was late to submit my documents in time as MIT was not my first preference. I finally got in through the NRI quota. The admission process is usually very smooth and convenient in MIT. I opted for this college because of its reputation in quality education and the fact that you would meet people from all over India and appreciate cultural differences.

The course curriculum is structured beautifully. Concepts are grasped well and the portion is spaced out to 4 years well. Lecturers encourage us to do extra projects and research under them or on our own and they help guide us through the process. We are always encouraged to learn more than what is in the curriculum which makes us more familiar to our stream.

Our college does not provide an internship as such but gives us internship opportunities by bringing big companies to select a few children for internships with them. They often promote companies owned by MIT college pass-outs.

I think at least 85% of the students get placed with decent jobs. This is mainly because of the classes that a few professors take to help us in our interviews and tests. Microsoft, Wipro, Goldmann Sachs, Sandisk, etc are some of the companies that have come to our college for interns and jobs.

Its pretty expensive because of the quality of all the facilities provided. Our college maintains all facilities well. The course fee would be around Rs.1,285,000, which is paid in installments. Scholarships from 10% to 100% are available with terms and conditions applied.

Exams and labs were well spread out through each semester with enough time between the exams to prepare. Sessional exams are a bit hectic but the professors take revision classes as well to make it easier for us. We often find time to have second or third revisions.

The faculty is very well selected here. They are very knowledgeable and are always prepared to help you. Most of the faculty are really passionate about what they teach which helps us get interested in the subject. We have faculty with a variety of qualifications but overall all the lecturers do their job well.
