For admission in B.Tech courses in Deenbandu Chhoturam University of Science and Technology, JEE Mains score is required. Students with less than 60,000 rank usually get admission in B.Tech. There are various quotas for SC/ST, OBC, and EWS students under which reservation of seat is provided. Admissions are done through hstes counseling in various B.Tech courses available in DCRUST, Murthal.There are also 2 on spot round where student have to physically go to college and submit their form details.

B.Tech Computer Science is one of the best courses in DCRUST with well-experienced and qualified faculty members. All the faculty members of the university are now Ph.D. qualified and have immense knowledge in their respective fields. There are two sessionals exams per semester and final examinations. If a student has covered the syllabus and knows what to write then they can pass very easily with good marks.

Internship opportunities are also decent where students do internships in startups, service-based companies like TCS, Wipro etch with a decent stipend given. Students are required to make one major project in their last year and one minor project in their pre-last year of college.

Placements from DCRUST are decent. TCS conducts mass hiring from our college and takes students from various streams, also fidelity also hires from our college. Apart from these service-based companies, some alumni are placed in wonderful startups and product-based companies like amazon with a very good package.

The fee for one year in B.Tech Computer Science is 55150 out of which 45400 are to be paid at the starting of a semester and 9750 at the second semester of that year. The college provides scholarships to the top 10 % merit students from the batch.

There are two annual fests held which include one cultural fest which has singing, dancing, and various other activities, apart from cultural fest technical fest is also held under the name of Technova where students from various colleges are affiliated with DCRUST and others do participate.
