Remarks

I applied to many more colleges affiliated with IP university but I got the lldims college according to my ranking of choice and it was also near to my place. I did not apply for any quota for admission. Firstly we have to go to IP university and we have to do the register and then the entrance test will take place and after the declaration of the scores and rank we will be provided to do the ranking of choice for the colleges and finally, the university sends us the college allotted to us by them from the choices we made.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose BCom honors because of my interest in commerce background. Subjects I am studying in this course are of great interest. The faculty of this college is greatly qualified and many of them have a lot of experience also and they also guide us regularly to start preparing for our further future like what to do after bachelors and all. Term exams are taken on a timely basis and regular evaluation.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are a good amount of internship opportunities provided to students right from the end of the first semester and keep students encouraging students to take more experience by doing these internships.

Placement Experience

4

The placements of my colleagues are good. Many big companies visit our college for campus placement and students also clear the interview and get the jobs in respective companies with good stipends.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for Bcom honors first year is 76000rs. scholarships are also provided to students belonging to scst or obc or any other backward classes and to students who have a Delhi ration card. First-year students get a lot of opportunities for internships.

Campus Life

3.5

There is an annual fest conducted every year in our college in the month of February. The college provides students with course books on the book bank and has to be returned after the end of the semester exams and the journals are also available from time to time in the college library. The college conducts enough extracurricular activities and there are various clubs such as chess yoga dance drama and many more clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the BCom Hons course curriculum at SBSC around 7 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. One of the main reasons I chose this course was because it offers a good mix of commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, Business Law, and Corporate Law, along with exposure to Economics and Management, which seemed useful whether I go for MBA or competitive exams later. The first-year subjects felt more like a base, but from second semester onward it started to get a bit more practical. Each subject has 25 marks for internals and 75 for the main exam. Most exams are 3 hours long and subjective, and I’d say the difficulty level is moderate. If you’ve been regular with notes and study the past papers, it’s not hard to pass, but getting 8+ CGPA requires consistent effort. Overall, the curriculum gives a decent foundation but it could be way better if more practical components and industry exposure were added.

The curriculum of our college is good and helpful for our future and also add Value in our CV but some subject like art of being happy and EVS are so much better because there is no any reason that they help us in future and also our exam timing is good it done in every 6 month and between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
