Remarks

There was only one college at a time for Computer science when I had applied. No quota. Three ways to get admission into college: 1.Through Jee score 2.HPCET 3.Plus two based Most of the seats are from JEE score and then the HPCET score. Very few seats for plus two.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen this course because I love programming and had a great interest in the field of computer science. When I was studying the ratio of students and faculty is not good. As some teachers who are not experts in a particular subject is teaching that particular subject. Teachers are well qualified and most of them had their Masters and a lot of experience. There are two-term exams in the semester and they are moderate.

Internships Opportunities

There are hardly two to three companies to which our college had MOU. These companies provide free internship for our college students and are mostly from Chandigarh. I had personally developed a Android application in my internship and publish it one android store.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not get any type of Scholarship or financial assistance or job from campus. But as it is government college fees is not that high as compared to other engineering colleges it is 50000. College provides placements but I did not participate in any of them.

Campus Life

There is one annual tech fest cum cultural fest organized every year in the month of November. I can say that the library is a good but not that big library but books related to the course are mostly available. When I studied college classrooms are not good. There are annual sports activities. The sports we played are cricket badminton kabaddi. There is just one website run by students.

Life at IIIT UNA

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.

I was first trying for best engineering colleges like NITs and IITs on my jee main score but my score is not up to the mark to get these colleges.
