I got a merit seat in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the College of Engineering Munnar. My rank for KEAM was 31805. The admission process was very simple. The admission officer gives you the information regarding the documents to be submitted. And with a few steps, the admission process was completed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the College of Engineering Munnar. Faculties in our college have very deep knowledge in their respective subjects. Most of our faculties secured Ph.D. And most of them are really experienced. In each semester they'll conduct 2 series of exams. The question provided was frequently asked university exam questions.
Fees and Financial Aid
For merit seats, the tuition fee is Rs 35,000 only per year. And after including other fees in 1st year the total fee is around Rs 55,000 per year. And from 2nd year onwards it will be Rs 45,000. Our college guides you and gives you the information's for acquiring scholarships.
Campus Life
The college is situated on the hills of Munnar. It gives you an outstanding vibe. The scenery from our college is super cool. Illiad is the major arts fest conducted in our college. And Kaizen is a national-level event conducted by our IEEE SB. All are conducted during February. Different clubs for arts sports are there. NSS, IEEE, IEDC are working in our college. And the students are really enthusiastic.
Hostel Facilities
Most of our beautiful memories are in our hostel. It is a really good experience with our friends. They provide the required facilities in the hostel. As with our college, our hostel is also situated in the hills with beautiful memories. At monsoon time it's really cold and it's completely covered with fog. The quality of food depends on the students whether they like it or not. But in total food quality is average. Hostel rent for a month is about 1600/- for 1st year. And including the food cost, the total fee will be a maximum of 4200/- per month.
