Course Curriculum Overview
Personally felt that curriculum is little outdated considering the job trends in nowadays. but it serves a good basic foundation for anyone choosing this field. the lab exam curriculum needs a big change. its completly outdated and not pratical in real life. frequency of exams are managable.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. theres a few companies which used to visit our college every year with packages around 3-6 lpa. considering other colleges its not that good but definetly not bad either.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for me is around Rs 35000, which covers tuition fee costs under management category. In addition to this , approximately Rs 2000-3000 is paid for exam and lab related expenses. Students in non management category pays around Rs 9000-15000 tuition fee.
Campus Life
Fests and campus life is very poor due to lack of students compared to other colleges. Sports and other extra curricular activities are also very boring due to lack of participation from students. Campus life is very poor in my opinion.
Admission
I choosed this college mainly due to the location its situated, in the heart of Munnar! its a very famous tourist destination in south India. This was my first choice of admission and honestly now I think I should have tried some other colleges where there is more college life and fests available.
Faculty
Faculties members are well behaved and educated in their respective fields. but I personaly think it could be little more better by bringing more youth faculties. I personally liked Mech departments faculties more than my own department. there will be 2 series of internal exams for each subject and one final semester exam.
Night Life
My college is located in Munnar which is a very famous tourist location but night life in my college doesn't exist. there is no college gym. cafeteria and libraries are okayish and campus closes around 5:30pm
