Remarks
Direct admission, any 12th pass with science stream (pcm) can join . No admission quota the year i joined was there except . No minimum marks criteria for admission pay and get admission . Admission process was kinda easy all they wanted is money and genuine marksheets of previous education. No interview no exam just max admission is the target of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty is okay not good as there is only one or two professors except that all are assistant professor with ongoing PhD degree in particular electrical area. No grieveance facility nothing. Partiality among local students and other state students. No placement help from branch . Practicals laboratory are just for waste .
Fees and Financial Aid
When I studied its just all the college is money. Late fee no concession nothing . Hostel fee scam is there . Govt established college people take admission seeing there will be placement etc .but nothing is there and fees is same as private college with. Zero facilities as those private college . No financial assistance is there even they are looting students.
Campus Life
Just for the sake of Punjab college, there is a ground with zero seating, no washroom or green rooms etc.Not even a proper running track Wild grass the just pour the fresh groundwater into the field that means no proper water harvesting is there. Cows can be grazing on the ground but student can't sit. They will be punished.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels where students spend most of the time, so it's kind of okay rooms well built with no cooler allowed. There is well built new hostel for SC/st students which I felt discriminatory for General. There is a scam in food Bills every month manager looted us with wardens (prof). No hygienic measures is taken only one cook in the hostel which make good food that of Beas otherwise everyone filling there pocket from students money.
