WBJEE, Ranking near about 5000 can get chance Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Communication Engineering.

Very good, this college is under West Bengal University of Technology whose syllabus follows IIT syllabus. Besides JIS is one of the deemed university of West Bengal now. So, 50% marks of each subject is given by college. Other 50% marks are depends on WBUT.

My college provide internship on financially backward students. They gets the benefit for full free tuition fees.

Placement of this college is nearly 85%. Most of the multi national companies come each year. TCS, CTS, WIPRO, IBM, Accenture. Besides different banks like ICICI, Yes bank come here to place MBA students. Before placement most of the company arrange pre placement training which is very beneficial for students to secure a job.

There are different events conducted by managing body and students, that are College Freshers, Fest, Saraswati Puja, Viswakarma Puja, IEEE Conference, SPIE student chapter technical events. Besides college students also attend some job and trade fair for realising current trend of market.

Loan facilities are offered by the college. College have tied up HDFC bank for granting loan. Most of the time HDFC bank gives the loan. Other bank loan facilities are also available.

Gender ratio does not strictly maintained. But this college environment is good for ladies. Women are also participates all events. There are some technical societies into the college like SPIE student chapter. There is no student politics and also no ragging report. If somebody ragged then he/she may complain to the management.

Each student should participate each events of college. If a student participates the events then they build his/her team management skill and soft skill.

Exams are semester basis. there are total 8 semester in 4 year. Each semester is taken after 6 months gap. For B.tech most of the subjects are technical. Beyond technical subjects there are several management, soft skill and environment oriented subjects. Odd semesters are conducted in December and even semesters are held in July.

First get rank at WBJEE, then you have to choose your stream and college parallel way at e-counselling. Then after e-counselling you have to submit draft of 5000 rupees at WBJEE board. Board would send your admission details to your college. Then you have to go college for admission with necessary testimonials and admission fees.

Faculties of this college are highly qualified, They are helpful. Give proper suggestion for scoring high marks. They also encourage to join students in different conferences like IEEE, Splinger etc. Even they give constructive notes and PPT before each semester.
