Remarks

My first choice was KIIT and I was cleared it's entrance exam and then I got call for counseling then I visited it's Patna Branch to collect full Information about the admission process where I came to know that they are charging 75000rs for providing uniform and a laptop and 96000rs as fees of one semester.It was around 6.5 lacks of amount I need to pay In the University to complete my graduation and I was not able To afford that. Then I choosed GLA UNIVERSITY. There was an entrance exam conducted by University for the student who want take admission in the desired course for which student needs to visit either University or any of the University Branch for the entrance exam and I was visited Gorakhpur Branch for the entrance exam. I was charged 800rs for entrance exam and after clearing the entrance exam I was guided to pay my college fee and after paying my fee I got mail for document verification after completing all these steps and then I got Information of starting of classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed BCA as I am very interested in computing things and want to explore about it. There are different specialized faculty for each subject in every semester. Faculties are highly qualified like M Tech or PHD. In first year exams were in 3 term like 1st mid term,2nd mid term and end term in a semester

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

From 5th semester companies started visiting for recruitment and we can participate in these companies. There are many companies visiting every year for BCA students like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPEGEMINY, INNOSTAX, SAP Labs and many more. Every year around 70% students get placed at an average of 2LPA Highest package for BCA is 8LPA offered by SAP Labs

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year fees increase by 2k.fees of 1 year can be deposited in 2 parts by paying 3k extra in every semester There is and scholarship provided by social welfare department and currently I'm in final year

Campus Life

Generally Library is opened for all students from 6am to 10pm and 24 hours for hostlers. There are maximum books available in the library and if a book we need is not available we can get the book in some day by informing library in charge. There are many sports run in the campus like football, cricket, basketball, racing etc.

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

About my college

Placement Experience:

In the 3rd year students are Eligible for the campus interviews. Students went from the college for the interviews in the bus. Teachers went there with the College students. Average package of the job is about 2 lakh per annum. Packages are not so good in the campus placement. there come companies like HCl, Wipro, TCS etc . 10 students out of 70 got placed in the campus placement that is not a good number. My plans after persuing BCA is applying for on campus interviews if I will got a good offer I will do that job otherwise I will apply for off campus interviews.

In positive remark i will consider the faculty of the college is good if they are not forced to teach the same course structure which is deprecated 5-10 years ago Negative : in this College no one talk about innovation everyone is directed towards the course and theories leanr and give exam to get food marks No technical fest even, Not a single hackathon is organized in our College till now

How Life Is in GLA UNIVERSITY!

I have also give exam of galgotia university noida and it will confirm admission their but I have consult some of my senior their their is very bad situation of palcement and same I have done with gla I have found that gla give more placement than galgotia so this is one reason to be part of gla and the other is that and I have also given exam of NIMCET I have got low rank so I will not get nit iit so the last option left behind is private university so according to my search and asking with people I have got good reviews about gla and what I found after be in Gla is that placement is good in numbers many companies come MNCs and startups so each and every student got chance to be the part of placement drives .
