I have joined the college with the score I gained in AIEEE exam conducted in 2011. I have chosen that exam because it is one of the toughest exam for the students who plan to join engineering and also it is a national level exam.

The course structure is one of the best I have ever see. During the 1st three semesters, other branch subjects were also included. We had general idea about all other departments also. In 3rd sem, we went into a bit more depth in EEE and ECE subjects. We also had many electives such that we can choose the subjects as per our interest.

Since, our college is a government college, it don't provide any internships, but it encourages us a lot to do outside.

One of the great thing about our college is its placement record. Only few students who plan on doing higher studies will not be placed as they don't attend the interviews, but all the others will be placed. Some guys even have triple placements also. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Aricent, Mu Sigma, L&T etc., have visited our college.

There are a lot of Cultural and technical events which use to happen in our college. Department's cultural and tech fest used to be there. Workshops were conducted. Sports day, college day, hostel day, Ugadi (Telugu new year), Onam (Kerala festival), vinayaka chaturdhi etc., were also celebrated. In all the above listed fests, anyone can join and participate.

The fee structure is very affordable even by a common middle class man. It is around Rs 13,000(don't remember exactly) for the local students and another Rs 15,000 for the students from other states per annum. The college also helps students in getting educational loans for those who can't afford the fee.

Campus life is excellent. I miss those days a lot. Students from many states are present. I can that my college is a multi-lingual college which consists of tamil, telugu, hindi, bengali, manipuri, marathi, malayala, kannada etc., languages. Everyone celebrates every states' festival without any differentiation.

There is a facility of hostel inside the college campus itself. one, two, three and four bed sharing rooms are available. Students can choose the rooms depending upon their need for privacy. Mess in present in the hostel itself. There are 3 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. Some faculty quarters are present very close by to the girls' hostels for security purposes.

We used to have 3 internal tests per theoritical subject. One mid-sem for each lab. Then at the end of the semester, final exams commence after completion of the lab externals. Those exams were not much hectic. Preparing for them used to help us to prepare for our final exams easily.

I have written AIEEE exam and then registered in CENTAC with that result. I have chosen that exam because it is one of the toughest exam for the students who plan to join engineering and also it is a national level exam. Then CENTAC gave me a merit rank based on the students who registered for it.

All the faculty are well qualified. Some of them are from IITs. Some had Ph.Ds also. All are very well talented and are very interested in teaching us and sharing the knowledge they had. Out of syllabus doubts are encouraged a lot. They also help in our private researches to.
