Its a Good College under Delhi Govt

I Applied for DTU IIT also but didn,t got any admission because my rank was not good. I have not availed any Quota The MInimum percentage was 55 and age was 21. Admission was either through Gate Exam or IPU Cet Exam

I chose this course because it a new field and a lot of opportunities are there in this field. There was 1 faculty for 15 students so it was a very good ratio. Faculty members were qualified and recruited by UPSC. Presentation and Regular practicals were there. Term exams were there in 45 days and the level of the question paper was moderate to average

TCS, HCL, COGNIZANT were some of the companies, and roles offered were information security consultant Projects related to identify the different types of attacks and viruses and how to counter them if it attacks the computer system. There were lot of theorems And research was there on how to find whether the virus was there or not.My Project was related to routing attacks in vehicular Ad hoc Networks under the supervision of Rao Sir

From 3 semesters or in the final year students become eligible for placements. TCS HCL WIPRO Cognizant were some of the companies who came to our college and 15 offers were made there in our couse Highest Package offered was 10 Lacs and Average Package offered was 3.5 Lacs and lowest package offered was 2 lacs 60 Percent students got placed in our course and some students did not for placements as they were more interested in teaching and Research Field. My plan was to get a govt job or job in corporate sector as having a masters degree gives you some advantage in the govt exams In Case Student did not get any placements and then he can prepare for govt job and can do some course to keep him up to date with latest technologies in the industry and for better prospects

The fees Structure was 70000 for the full course which was affordable as it was fully funded by Delhi Govt. I was Placed in TCS with a package of 3.5 lacs.A lot of scholarships were there for reserved category students which are generally provided by the Govt of India

Conversance was the name of the fest and it was usually conducted in February. There was a centralized fully air-conditioned library with proper wifi facilities available there. The Latest Updated books were available there as per requirements. Sports and Game Club was there with a large playground to play there. Music Club, Dance Club, Fun Club, Literacy Club different types of clubs are there.
