Likes
- the placements are decent here. many companies come here to hire and offer very good packages, Also, our tnp cell is very active to give best to students and help them achieve their dream package.
- the campus is huge and lushgreen. no one can get bored of this campus and there are many places nearby to enjoy after college. College infra is best and memorable view.
Dislikes
- Faculty is not very helping and supportive. they get frustated on little things.
- Academics are very hard in NSUT. many students get sem back and get disappointed. curriculum is inclined towards rote learning instead of what is required in industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
this course has ai and ml that is main reason to chooseit. semester is of 4-5 months and mid sem exams are after 1.5 month of start of semester. one should not just depend on college lectures to score good. the curriculum is traditional and doesn't has any application in industry.
Internships Opportunities
mostly people take internships themselves as less intern opportunities are provided my college. we need good skills and projects to showcase our skills. internship is not hard to get.many seniors whom I talked to got intern by applying through LinkedIn.
Placement Experience
Placements get started at start of 5th semester. top companies like google, Microsoft, nvidia, atlassian, uber, etc come here. highest package goes around 60lpa and avg is about 15lpa. 70-80% students get placed here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for 4 years will be 10.5 lakhs and it is increasing batch by batch. for next batch, total fee will be 10.5lakh+80k. first yr : 1.45 lakh second yr: 1.5 lakh third year: 1.7 lakh fourth year: 1.9 lakh scholarships are provided by govt and no information of scholarship by college till now.
Campus Life
moksha is the annual cultural fest which is famous is all colleges of delhi. it is large fest with foot count of 2lakh+ library is huge and has many books there. we can also get books which are not available on request. there are many societies to boost our skills such as ashwamedh-drama, cresendo-music, tds- programming, etc
Admission
i applied for dtu but didnt got good branch there. this college is under jac delhi counseling. one can give jee mains exams and fill counselling form to get admission in this college. score of 97+ percentile is preferred and one can also use category cert. cse, it, mac, ece are top branches here
Faculty
some faculties are very good and supportive and some are full of frustration. best faculty I would say is pradeep sir who taught us english. he is so sweet and doesn't burden us for assignments or sheets. there is a subject here called egcad, many students get back in this and reappear. difficulty is moderate but some subjects like egcad require more practice
Night Life
we have one gym and a cannteen to get food. hostels are not available in east campus. there are many placesnearby to hagout. laxmi nagar, majnu ka tila, kashmere gate and many more locality is not safe at night
